Brittany Brown

Board Member (Secretary and Director)

Brittany Brown serves as Secretary and Director on IAPS's Board. She is a strategy consultant advising nonprofits and foundations
on coalition building and programmatic development.

Brittany brings 20 years of senior leadership across the U.S. government and civil society. She served as Assistant to the Administrator at USAID’s Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization and previously led the Office of Transition Initiatives, together directing over $1.4 billion in programs across 60+
countries to counter democratic backsliding and authoritarianism.

She also served as Director for African Affairs at the White House National Security Council and as Chief of Staff at the International Crisis Group.

Brittany lives in Northern California.
