Matthew Fargo is the Head of Operations at the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS), where he leads operations functions.

Before joining IAPS, Matthew was Senior Special Projects Manager at Rethink Priorities.

He has worked at the interface between science, technology, and security for more than a decade, with an emphasis on biosecurity and nuclear security. He holds a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. from Georgetown University.
