Nick is the Senior Research Manager for the Frontier Security team at the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS). Before joining IAPS, Nick served as Co-Director of the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), leading global programming, development, and operations. As a founding member, he spent ten years managing the Lab’s growth from 2 to 50 staff across 17 countries, building a body of research on information integrity, online harms, and tech governance. Nick holds a BA in International Relations and German from Colgate University and remains a Nonresident Fellow with the Atlantic Council.
